How to Apply
The University of Chicago Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications to our fellowship should be made to the ERAS at their website. The Fellowship Program participates in the Medical Specialties Matching Program of the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Applicants should register with the NRMP at their website.
Application Requirements
Physician applicants should have completed at least two years of training in Internal Medicine in the United States.
Applicants must be ABIM board-eligible and have the ability to obtain a medical license for Illinois.
Applicants should submit at least 3 letters of recommendation
We accept applications through ERAS only, and we participate in the NRMP. After your application and letters of recommendation have been received, your file will be reviewed by our fellowship committee. A limited number of fellowship applicants will be invited for an interview.
We welcome applications from international medical graduates who hold a valid immigrant or J-1 exchange visa. Please note that we are not able to sponsor H-1B or other employment-based visas.
